My Bio
Well, that's me :)
There's not much know about me. I started photography as a hobby when I was 15 years old. (Actually, a bit earlier, but that's when I started to really get into it) Once I moved from this horribly little automatic I had to my dad's old Canon AE1 I was hooked for life. The Canon EOS 300D (I believe it's called digital rebel in the states) was my first step into the digital medium and I am currently the proud owner of a Canon EOS 7D.
I am however an amateur photographer. I tend to shoot for quantity and hope for some lucky shots. I love taking pictures of unsuspecting peoples on events or parties, and it's somewhat my specialty. But since it's not really appropriate to publish picture of people who don't know about it I limit myself to all the other stuff I did over the years. Recently I hooked up with a local group of fire performers and do a lot of shooting with them.
If I am not stuck behind my camera there's a good chance you'll find me behind some sort of computer. Once I realized that I was not nearly good enough as a photographer to make any money out of it I simply made my second hobby into my profession. Sadly this doesn't leave me much time for anything else, but the IT pays well enough to at least keep my equipment up-to-date.
Last but not least, if it's Monday night you'll find me at the movies in the sneak-preview. I am a real big movie fan, and frequent the local movie theater quite a lot.
Comments and suggestions on all my pictures are highly welcome and I will try to return the favor as quickly as I can.

Got pretty much all my equippment stolen today. The camera, all lenses, my good flash, the memory cards and a most of my other stuff. All gone... I just went from enthusiast photographer to guy with a crappy cell phone camera.
This really sucks bad...

Hi folks,
there was a post in the forums recently about wedding photography. Since I did some amateur wedding photography recently I figured I could add some wisdom to that. Now, since posts vanish in the depths of dAs forum pretty quickly I thought it might be nice to be able to keep the journal handy in case I need it again. (Well, I am writing this up because I want to show it to somebody already)
Keep in mind that I'm an amateur photographer and that those tips are geared towards non-pros as well.
