I tried to give the shadows more depth and also highlight the tree leaves while overall enhancing the contrast. All changes have been done in Photoshops 'Channel Mixer' Tool.

This looks great Christopher! Having more contrast brought out a lot more details than showed in my B&W version of this. Excellent work, thanks!
